We then went to a little village along the Mekong to see how rice paper was made. Completely a cottage industry, these are typically 2 woman operations, making around 300 to 400 of these huge sheets a day. Was really lovely to see this old woman offer us a chance to make some rice paper and eat is after that. We did buy some fresh from her .. and do come home to try some of my fresh spring rolls :)
